Violette B

Administrative Assistant, Pole Instructor

Like so many other new students, Violette’s pole dance journey started with a breakup. She had always wanted to try pole dancing, but the price tag held her back. After her boyfriend at the time texted her that he was moving to a different state, she figured she had nothing to lose and pulled the trigger. At first, it was just a novelty to her. Being able to ‘work a pole’ sounded like a fun party trick. However, as Violette progressed, she was amazed at what she was able to achieve. Pole made her feel strong as hell, and she quickly realized that it was something she was passionate about. The thrill of powerful aerial tricks combined with graceful, sensual floorwork was unlike anything she’d ever seen. She felt, if she worked hard enough, she could defy gravity, and that’s a philosophy she still carries with her today.

Violette had to take a break for a while to work on her mental health, but as soon as she could, returned to the studio–this time determined to get involved. Now, as an instructor at Mora, she’s happy to say she is living her passion every day!

Outside of pole, Violette has a passion for reptiles and invertebrates, Miatis, and all things sugary! A perfect day for her would be spending time with her pets–a bearded dragon, 2 snakes, 11 tarantulas, and several feeder/bioactive insect colonies–then taking a top-down drive to try a new bakery.
