Nisha B

Pole Instructor

As a child, Nisha did contemporary dance, ballet, and jazz quite intensely. She even gave up high school to dance full time. After belly dancing at 19, she didn’t move a muscle for 20 years. She felt she had overdone it in her youth. Then at 40, with fibromyalgia, trying to look for a way to exercise that she could enjoy, she found the world of Aerial arts. It was love at first Fireman spin! Nisha was swept away with how freeing it felt. Hair down, riding the wave of the music as opposed to counting, the freedom to embellish, the permission to be sensual, and the ability to pick music that move her. The feeling of artfully flying with an exposed heart as she would soar was addicting.

Nisha has always been very feminine and this was a way for her to exude that in a way that was strong and not judged. Her love affair with music deepened further, as did all the fun dressing up with sparkles, heels, and mood lighting. The side effects of laughter and getting in shaper were more than welcomed.

Nisha’s goal is to facilitate infusing other with these feelings, watching them grow in ways they never could have predicted. Pole and hammock have made her a stronger person in countless ways, after a long hibernation it reignited her.
